Creating a life worth living.
From an early age, I felt a magnetic pull towards the field of social work, a calling that blossomed into a profound understanding of my purpose as I entered adulthood. In 2010, I proudly earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a pivotal milestone that set the stage for my career. My community—vibrant and full of life—provided me with invaluable experiences that inspired me to launch my private practice in January 2018.
Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from a kaleidoscope of socio-economic backgrounds, each of them carrying unique stories and mental health challenges. Initially, my focus was directed towards uplifting oppressed populations, especially children and families whose voices often went unheard. However, in 2015, I embarked on a transformative path towards specializing in chronic mental illness, which allowed me to delve deeper into the intricate layers of trauma and the complexities of human relationships.
My practice is a tapestry woven from diverse threads of experience, encompassing the treatment of codependency, anxiety, and depression. I embrace an eclectic therapeutic approach, creating a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can gently explore their emotions and begin to heal.
The wisdom imparted by my mentors, coupled with the insights gained from my own encounters with trauma, has profoundly shaped my capacity to provide compassionate and effective therapy. Each session is an opportunity to foster connection and understanding, guiding my clients towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
